WHY AFTER-PROM WORKS

  • Free play — no tokens, tickets, or card readers to manage
  • Keeps students on site all night — a reason to stay through sunrise
  • Works in a gym, cafeteria, or commons
  • We deliver, set up, and tear down — volunteers just supervise
  • A group that books again every year

THE OVERNIGHT FORMAT

An after-prom is one of the biggest single-event bookings you can make, and the arcade trailer is built for the format. We deliver and set up during a generous window before the dance ends, so the games are running the moment the music stops — no downtime, no waiting on setup while the dance winds down. The trailer then stays all night. Our Level 6 arcade trailer package covers a full 24 hours on site, so the classics are still lit at 2 a.m. and keep running until sunrise. In the morning, we tear down and roll out before most committees have finished breaking down the dining hall — your volunteers never lift a cabinet.

If your school wants the games to carry into a weekend lock-in or a multi-day event around prom, our multi-day trailer packages drop the per-day cost the longer we stay — a 2-day, 3-day, 5-day, or full-week run, all 15 games included for the whole time. One delivery fee covers the entire booking.

WHY IT WORKS FOR COMMITTEES

FREE PLAY MEANS NO CHANGE BOOTH

Every game is set to free play, which removes the single biggest pain point of an overnight event: running money. There are no tokens to count, no tickets to hand out, and no card readers to babysit. Student volunteers and parent chaperones ride herd instead of managing an arcade cashier, which frees the committee to focus on the food, the DJ, and keeping an eye on the building.

KEEPS STUDENTS ON SITE ALL NIGHT

Post-prom safety is the whole reason the event exists, and the arcade is the rare activity teenagers actually choose to stay for. A competitive 4-player NBA Jam bracket or a Mortal Kombat challenge gives groups a reason to stay on campus past midnight, and chaperones a reason to relax. The crowd gravitates toward the games, which makes it easy to keep everyone in one supervised space instead of drifting toward the parking lot.

WORKS IN A GYM OR CAFETERIA

The trailer parks on a flat spot about 20×10 feet and carries its own power, so a nearby outlet is helpful but not required. Individual cabinets need roughly 2×3 feet of floor space and a standard 120V outlet, which is why a gym, cafeteria, or commons area handles the full lineup comfortably. We handle all delivery, setup, and teardown around whatever time the dance actually ends.

HOW WE HELP

  • Set up before the dance ends — games are ready the moment the music stops
  • 24-hour Level 6 trailer — plays all night, torn down in the morning
  • On-site attendant optional ($75) if you'd rather we handle the games
  • Multi-day options for lock-ins and prom-week events
  • Free delivery within 25 miles of North Webster, then $2/mile

PLANNING TIMELINE FOR COMMITTEES

PLAN AHEAD — BOOK BY JANUARY

After-prom committees (usually parent volunteers or PTO groups) plan months ahead. Vendors are picked in late fall and winter for proms in April and May, and the budget is often set by December. That's why we recommend starting the conversation early.

  1. By January — confirm your prom date and reserve the trailer with a 50% deposit so your weekend is locked in.
  2. By late winter — finalize your budget, get committee sign-off, and pick your add-ons (extra hours, an on-site attendant, the outdoor package, or a claw machine stocked with prizes).
  3. By March — confirm your final game list and the venue location so we know the setup window and where the trailer parks.
  4. Prom week — we confirm delivery and teardown times, and share exactly what volunteers need to know before students arrive.

Bookings are first come, first served, and prom weekends fill early across Indiana. The $50% deposit is all it takes to hold your date.

RECOMMENDED GAMES

GAMES TEENS ACTUALLY PLAY

The trailer carries 15 cabinets, and for an after-prom crowd we tend to lean on the titles with the most replay value. Head-to-head and light-gun games get the longest lines, and a prize claw machine is a reliable crowd mover all night.

Every game is on free play, and you choose the final list — if you'd rather keep the lineup all-ages or leave off a title, we build the roster to your call. See the full game list.

AFTER-PROM PRICING

Because after-prom is an overnight event, the trailer tiers below are the ones most committees book. A 50% deposit reserves your date; the balance is due on event day. See every rate on the rates page.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

How early do we need to book for spring prom?

Plan to book by January for an April or May dance. After-prom committees pick vendors in late fall and winter, and school budgets are often set by December, so we recommend having your date confirmed before the new year. We hold a date with a 50% deposit.

Can the trailer stay past midnight?

Yes. Our Level 6 arcade trailer package covers a full 24 hours on site, so the games run straight through to sunrise. The trailer parks on site the night of the dance and we tear down the next morning — your committee never has to move a cabinet.

Do students need tokens or quarters?

No. Every game is set to free play — no tokens, no tickets, no card readers to manage at the door. Volunteers supervise instead of running a change booth.

Does it work in a gym or cafeteria?

The trailer parks on a flat spot roughly 20×10 feet and carries its own power, so a nearby outlet is a bonus rather than a requirement. Individual cabinets need about 2×3 feet of floor space and a standard outlet, which is why an after-prom works great in a gym, cafeteria, or commons area.
